Sharon Morra 
CRC

CIES Supervisor - MassAbility

Sharon Morra joined CRC in 2019. As a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, she has worked with the transition population for over 18 years. 

As the CIES Supervisor for CRC Vocational Services, Ms. Morra works directly with our employment and transition specialists to assist with determining suitable vocational goals for consumers based upon their vocational profile.  She also works closely with MassAbility Career Counselors in identifying appropriate consumers to fit our service and program model.

​Ms. Morra is an active participant in Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) team meetings to identify student's strengths, interests, and needs, and has been instrumental in the delivery of assessments, interest inventories, work readiness skills, integrated community-based work experiences and career counseling. Ms. Morra is dedicated to assisting our youth with making informed choices as they prepare to transition from secondary to postsecondary education and/or to the world or work. ​​

 

​​Ms. Morra has professional experience working in both government administration and the private for-profit sector and is skilled in vocational rehabilitation guidance and counseling, vocational consultation, transition assessments, labor market analysis, career counseling, and job development and placement of individuals with disabilities.

   
Ms. Morra has served on several rehabilitation boards including the Rhode Island Rehabilitation Association, International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals, Advisory Board for Adult Learners and Individuals with Learning Disabilities, Standards and Exam Committee for the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification and has also assisted in developing and implementing professional development conferences.

Ms. Morra holds an M.A. in Rehabilitation Counseling from Assumption College and a B.A. in Sociology from Rhode Island College.
